abra el archivo gtk.css desde /usr/share/themes/Yaru/gtk-3.20/ con el siguiente comando

sudo -H gedit /usr/share/themes/Yaru/gtk-3.20/gtk.css

pegue el siguiente código en el texto existente y cambiar los colores como por su deseo.
